Levings will discuss reporting in the Civil War period and his book, "Saddle the Pale Horse."Newspapering was undergoing a revolution like just about everything else before and during the Civil War,” Levings said. “Out here on the frontier, it took on another disastrous and sometimes deadly dimension, just like the war did.”
