Take a Hike Through History on the Burroughs Creek Trail: Unveiling the Trail Interpretive Panels

A special event at Burroughs Creek Park marks the unveiling of a Hike Through History on the Burroughs Creek Trail, ten new interpretive history panels along 1.7 miles of scenic hiking and biking trail and section of the Lawrence Loop. The interpretive panels along this trail, and also the ones along the Indian Creek Trail in Overland Park, Kansas, were projects of the late Henry Fortunato. Henry walked countless miles. The Hikes Through History trails are just one of his many legacies.
