Quindaro Symposium - Strength Through Numbers (Keynote Address)

"Strength Through Numbers: The Intersection of Abolitionist Politics, Freed Blacks and a Flourishing Community at Quindaro" is a free event, open to the public. Dr. Quintard Taylor opens the symposium at the Kansas City Public Library - Central Library, 14 W 10th St, Kansas City, MO, 64105. Follow the link to find out more about the symposium, and to register. (Friday and Saturday sessions will be held at Memorial Hall, 600 North 7th Street Trafficway, Kansas City, KS 66101.)
