Touching the Fire book discussion

Our second book in the Laura Ingalls Wilder Commemorative Series examines (through fiction) the experiences of the Plains tribes already on the prairie when settlers began to move west. TOUCHING THE FIRE: BUFFALO DANCERS, THE SKY BUNDLE AND OTHER TALES by Roger Welsch. The discussion will be presented by Sara Tucker, professor emerita, Washburn University. Part of the LIW Commemorative Series, exploring LIW's journey through Franklin County 125 years ago. Possible thanks to Humanities Kansas.
