    Dream With Da Vinci

    Da Vinci was a dreamer and an inventor. Math, science and art are highlighted in this interactive, hands-on exhibit. Catapults, parachutes, and a hang glider are some of the inventions guests will find.     Quilt Exhibit from the Collection of Tammy Reid

    On display: beautiful Harris-Kearney House quilts from the 19th century. The featured exhibitor is Mrs. Tammy Reid, the wife of Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.     Museum After Hours - Politics on the Platform: Woman Suffrage at the Chautauqua By Sarah Bell

    This presentation will examine how women engaged in political activism at the Chautauqua, particularly suffrage and temperance, and how this early movement laid the groundwork for contemporary issues of feminism and gender equality. The League of Women Voters will host a voter registration booth from 5 until 6:30 p.m., while the Kansas Museum of History is open for half price admission.
