    Join us for a a guided tour of the battlefield on the exact day and at the exact time of the battle 162 years before. Come and walk in the footsteps of John Brown, Henry Clay Pate, and the other men who fought the first open battle over slavery. Try to arrive no later than 4:45 a.m. Follow the signs to the parking area and meet in front of the Robert Hall Pearson Farmhouse.     162nd Anniversary Battlefield Tours

    To commemorate the 162nd Anniversary of the Battle of Black Jack, there will be two guided battlefield tours in the afternoon of June 2nd. The first one will be at 1:30 p.m. and the second one will be at 4:00 p.m. You might catch sight of Old John Brown, Henry Clay Pate, and members of their Free State and proslavery militias. You just never know who you will come across at Black Jack. This year's events are even more special because they are all being held on the actual date of the battle...details >>
