    To commemorate the 162nd Anniversary of the Battle of Black Jack, there will be two guided battlefield tours in the afternoon of June 2nd. The first one will be at 1:30 p.m. and the second one will be at 4:00 p.m. You might catch sight of Old John Brown, Henry Clay Pate, and members of their Free State and proslavery militias.     Art in Focus: Drawn in Time, Michael Krueger

    Growing up in South Dakota, Michael Krueger was drawn to the history and lore of the west and the Plains. That interest is reflected in his artwork. Krueger, who has taught at the University of Kansas in the Department of Visual Art since 1995, discusses his works, and the research that informs their historical references.
