The Center provides an opportunity for learning, understanding, and admiring nature's ever-changing ways.


Hours

March - October: Mon - Sat 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sun 1 - 5 p.m.
Closed on Sundays in June, July, and August.
November - February: Mon - Sat 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Sun 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Closed for lunch 12 - 1 p.m.
Trails are open from dawn until dusk.

Admission is free.

It is the focal point of cultural historical, and environmental education programming offered to all ages by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. The Center contains displays, live animals, and Nature's Corner Gift Shop, along with a friendly, knowledgeable staff eager to share their knowledge of nature.
