Research Library

Visit the drug store display which features medical remedies from days gone by. Attempt to identify the Presidents and their wives in the WPA Dolls display. Enjoy the masterpieces of local artist, Don Lutton. The machine shed features antique farm implements and tools, as well as an old fire engine. The Zeta Library Building, the town's first library, is slated to become the town's first genealogy library.

Prairie View (La Cygne, Parker, Fontana) Alumni weekend is part of the La Cygne 150 (sesquicentennial) celebration, May 24-27, 2019.

Events have been planned for Friday night through Monday afternoon (including Swanfest on Saturday, Blast in the Park on Sunday night, and much more). Classes of 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, & 2014 will be celebrating their "5 Year" events then. La Cygne Rural High Alumni will be hosting their event at PV on Sat. night, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the last class to graduate from La Cygne Rural High School.

We'd love to have you join in our 150 celebration, which is open to the public!
