Shawnee County Historical Society programs feature preservation projects in Topeka

The Shawnee County Historical Society is sponsoring a series of public programs featuring distinguished historic preservation projects in Topeka. All programs will be held on Sunday afternoons in the Cox Communications Heritage Education Center at the Ritchie House site, 1118 SE Madison.

  • September 16, 2 p.m. - a presentation by Elizabeth Taylor on The Woodward block on Fillmore
  • October 21 at 2 p.m. - a presentation by Barb Quaney on the JQ Historic Properties in Old Town
  • November 18 at 2 p.m. - a presentation by Nova Cottrell on the Charles Curtis House Museum on Topeka Boulevard
