Community Digitization Project helps preserve photos and documents
Honor the contributions of African Americans during the Jazz Age and the Great Depression. Bring up to three photographs, documents or relevant ephemera from 1918-1948 to the Black Archives of Mid-America, 1722 E 17th Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, December 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Items will be scanned, photographed and digitized for eventual display. Participants will receive an archival supply kit to preserve personal items.
